Csaba Szalay -
graduated as an M. Sc. in Engineering
and Management on the academic
specialisation of production management in 2001 later on as economist
on the academic specialisation of business management at the University
of Veszprém in Hungary.
He has been working on the
introduction and education of Lean Management tools for more than five years.
At first he was responsible for the company introduction of Lean
Manufacturing philosophy at the 11 hungarian production units of Zollner Ltd. in
Vác. These days he was working with Mr. Peter Del Conte from
Switzerland who is a Europe-wide known great authority of this theme.
In 2002 he went through the Lean
tutor's training of Japan International Co-operation Agency and Hungarian
Productivity Centre. Later on as the colleague of a company dealing with Lean
consultancy and trainings, he got further experiences of being Lean trainer and
consultant.
In the course of his career he
has been dealing with introduction of Lean tools, in the electronic, plastic
industry, medical industry, sheet metal processing and also in service environment
(Banking). He has implemented the 5S method in manufacturing and office environment
at several customers, set up manufacturing cells in the fields of electronic manufacturing
and sheet-metal processing. As an external consultant of CIB Bank Ltd.
in Hungary
he facilitated a pilot-project for the setup of a process cell for the
credit assessment processes.
After
founding Hexolut Consulting with 5 other consultants in 2005 he
continued working as a trainer and consultant in the field of Lean management.
Today he is the leader of ‘Lean management' business unit of the company.
